The Good Wife’s Guide

* Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they get home and the prospect of a good meal is part of the warm welcome needed.

* Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you’ll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

* Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

* Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.

* During the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering to his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

* Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.

* Be happy to see him.

* Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

* Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

* Don’t greet him with complaints and problems.

* Don’t complain if he’s late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through at work.

* Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or lie him down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

* Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

* Don’t ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

* A good wife always knows her place.

OMG - NKOTB are coming back!
May 6th, 2008 under Music. [ Comments: 2 ]

Believe it or not I was never a big fan of New Kids on the Block but most of my friends were. Angela calls me up this morning saying, “ohh my god” x 3, I asked what and she came back with “NKOTB are coming back and Donnie is on 93.3 they are going to play their song in a few minutes go listen to it”. I listened to it and would have to say I think it’s a lil lame. They are also doing auditions for their video which will be done here in San Diego.

Here is the song

Finally got fish
May 3rd, 2008 under Life In General. [ Comments: 1 ]

Well I finally have added life to my tank. For the past 3 months it has had nothing in it but the live rock and what ever little creatures that were in the live rock. I ordered a reef cleanup crew package with the following..

Scarlet Hermit Crab: 20
Blueleg Hermit Crab: 20
Turbo/Astrea Snail: 25
Peppermint Shrimp: 5
Emerald Crab: 5
Coral Banded Shrimp: 1
Cleaner Clam: 2

I also bought a clown fish and a goby fish. Here are some pictures

Here are my shrimp and emerald crabs going through their acclimation period.

I Make this look GOOD!
April 29th, 2008 under Life In General. [ Comments: 4 ]

haircut.jpg“I make this look good” has been my phrase today. Not sure why but it is, maybe because I’m working on building more self confidence. Anyhow it’s been a long time since I’ve gone up to see Randee (friend of the family, and hair stylist). I’m going through this whole new me thing this year. And had to get my hair cut (just beyond my shoulders) and add red tints to it as I usually just do blond.
Sorry for the not so good picture as it was taken with my cell phone. But after taking lots of pics with my real camera and not caring for them to much. A friend of mine just wanted to see a picture and told me to just use my cell phone to send to her and she liked it. And now you find it here. I have my hair pulled forward on the side so you can see how short I cut it, It used to be almost down to my butt.

No pressure from you and none from me... Just let the mood set the moment off... We can make love or not at all "
