Our XBox Is Missed

A while ago I blogged about how we had gotten the Ring of Death on our 360. Can you believe that it took my lazy ass up till last Friday to finally send it off? I have no excuses other then we didn’t have ink in my printer and just haven’t gone anywhere to access my email to print up the UPS shipping label. Yes I should of called MS and asked them to send me one, but I never made that call (yes I expect a smart ass comment from you Kerri). So Friday I finally got my hands on a computer with a printer with a lil ink left in it over at my Brother’s house. After picking up the kids from school later on that day we shipped it off at the local Office Depot.

Last night I checked to find that it had been received and is in the process of being repaired… I can’t wait to find out that it’s fixed and on it’s way back. We surely have missed having it here being how all our music (about 10,000 songs) is accessed using our 360 and a portable HDD hooked up to our stereo. Not to mention a good couple hundred movies.

3 Red Lights

What a sad two to three weeks we will have here in our house, as we ship off our Xbox 360 to Microsoft to get it repaired. Today I went to turn on the 360 and to my surprise I got the three red lights. Thankfully MS covers everything in regards to this issue.

Were A Couple of Rock Stars

Thought I would share some of my latest purchases, it’s either that or I blog about work. And that would just be boring wouldn’t it?

So first we have my 8GB Nano Ipod (Can you believe it took me so long to get one?)

Then we have my 2.5″ 250 GB Pink WD USB External Hard Drive that I loaded up with all my music so I could free up space on my laptop.

Then the one thing that practically gave Brandon a Heart Attack when he saw it at our house this afternoon from coming home from School, A Xbox 360.

Of course one of the main reasons I wanted to get the 360 besides to make Brandon happy is so I could buy Rock Band and rock out.

Rock Band, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, is the creation of Harmonix, makers of the smash hit Guitar Hero series. It takes that gameplay — jamming out rock songs by pressing buttons and strumming on a plastic guitar controller — then adds karaoke vocals and a drum controller. In all, four people can play together, following their own musical patterns and creating a whole song.

Here are the controllers minus the Microphone and drum sticks that are put aside.

Then I thought I would share a nice little gemstone bracelet that Tammy made for me the other night

He Made It!!!

Well Brandon successfully made it through two weeks without playing his X-Box. I am so proud of my little bubbaloo. If you want to know why he went two weeks without playing his xbox read here

No Xbox?

noxbox.jpgBrandon told me tonight that he has a goal not to play xbox at all tomorrow. And I say that’s great…and say I would love to see you go a week with out any xbox and he goes on with I’ll go two weeks with out it. So I’m curious to see how long he will actually go with out it. He warned me that he will be hanging around me alot more often if he isn’t playing lol. If he can go two weeks without playing im going to get him another game. So we will see….
