What’s Wrong with this Picture

When I was fixing the resolution on our computer somehow I changed the setting to make the screen change.. I didn’t realize I did this because I looked away to come back to this. Lela and I both sat here and said WTF?

A sleep over

Apparently Lela and I had someone sleep over the other night and were not aware of it… When we woke up she went to get on the computer and went to move a lil box in front of the monitor coming about 1 inch from giving this little guy a pat on the back… Talk about being freaked out…

And tell me, why is he looking right at me?

What Happened to Library Etiquette?

Back in the day it used to be taught that you were to be quiet while in a library. What ever happen to this? Isn’t a library supposed to be a nice quiet place to go for research, studying, and just simply relaxing while reading a book? Aren’t the librarians supposed to enforce this quiet atmosphere?

I bring this up because lately we have been visiting our local library. We are either there for the kids to get books to read or I sometimes go there to work. And let me tell you it is no where close to being quiet. Not only do we have people’s cell phone’s ringing (hello phones have a vibrate function for a reason!), people yapping on their phones (ever heard of taking the call outside or not answering it), speaking at all levels (what happened to whispering). But the employees are loud them selves, I believe there should be no reason why I need to hear your conversation on the other side of the building. There is a room off to the side that they even have live music being played in. They have a door for this room but what is the purpose of it if you don’t shut it.

I don’t know, i guess it’s just a pet peeve of mine.

* Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they get home and the prospect of a good meal is part of the warm welcome needed.

* Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you’ll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

* Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

* Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.

* During the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering to his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

* Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.

* Be happy to see him.

* Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.

* Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first – remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

* Don’t greet him with complaints and problems.

* Don’t complain if he’s late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through at work.

* Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or lie him down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

* Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.

* Don’t ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

* A good wife always knows her place.

OMG – NKOTB are coming back!

Believe it or not I was never a big fan of New Kids on the Block but most of my friends were. Angela calls me up this morning saying, “ohh my god” x 3, I asked what and she came back with “NKOTB are coming back and Donnie is on 93.3 they are going to play their song in a few minutes go listen to it”. I listened to it and would have to say I think it’s a lil lame. They are also doing auditions for their video which will be done here in San Diego.

Here is the song
