Styling in a hat we found while shopping in Target

It’s been forever since I blogged. I was on a roll and I slipped after a while. Anyhow last night we went to a family after Christmas party. I took a picture of Brandon and he started posing.

When you have a family of five, it’s always such a great thing when you find fun things to do for free. So on Friday we went to the Miramar Air Show which is just about a 20 minute drive from our house so that is even better. I meant for us to all go last year, but never made it. Today to avoid all the big crowds we let the kids cut school (they are all doing well so they can afford to miss a day). I find it amusing that while at a airshow many people will cover their ears and buy ear plugs. To Lela and I that is the whole fun, the whole idea. As I love hearing the jets pass me buy and make everything vibrate. Photography was a lil hard but when they are flying past you at speeds over 400 mph at times its almost expected to have some blurry shots with out a $10,000 camera.
Now onto the photos taken by both Lela and I
These are just some random shots as we were walking to our area to watch the actual show, I think this is a Blackhawk but I could be wrong

Now onto some air photos
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could fuel up while driving on the freeway?

Sean Tucker and what he did in this plane was amazing…you just have to be there

Lela didn’t know she had actually captured this shot because she said the camera froze up on her.. She was so excited when we got home and she found out she caught it

And last but not least the reason everyone stays till the end… a couple shots of The Blue Angels

Ok it seems there is a demand for wedding photos so I will post some more….you can also view the first set at http://www.heathersblog.com/2009/wedding-of-the-year/

Ok, I guess there was a few people wanting to see me up on the floor… You can’t really see me in any pics with Angela so here is one of me dancing with her daughter

A very tired Groom playing the drums in his band T-Irie Dread at the end of the night

I don’t know why, but I love using the stamp feature on Photoshop. Here I am in a picture I took the other day but in stamped form…
