My Nose Piercing

Ever since Lela has gotten her labret piercing done I have wanted to get something pierced. In the year 2000 I had my eyebrow done but it didn’t heal correctly so I pulled it out. Besides my then husband didn’t like piercings anywhere but in ears. For the past month or so I decided I wanted my nose done. Today we went and did it.

I felt like they were doing some sort of science experiment on me

ouch

And in it goes, as I’m trying not to think of the pain

Wiping the tears away. He said that your eye always tears up on the side you get it on (Lela still learning to use the camera on my phone, so blame her for the blurriness lol just kidding)

I hate the idea of putting up a picture of me this close to me but it’s the only way to show it.

Battle with a Pepper

Brandon took on a pepper that was in the bag of hot carrots we got from our local taco shop. It’s a sin for me to go get us Mexican food with out bringing back this bag for Lela. Brandon decided to prove he was a man Sunday and to grow hair on his chest by eating the hot pepper…

The Cast Comes Off!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Been really busy with major changes in my life with having my girlfriend move in.

Brandon had his cast removed today and he is such a happy camper now. But let me tell you it didn’t smell like roses that is for sure. I couldn’t wait for him to get in the bath when he got home to soak the funk off his foot.

Before we get it removed he showed what his friend wrote on it.
“Have fun getting your cast off, make sure they don’t cut your leg”

During the removal of the cast Brandon was cracking up as it tickled with the vibrations of the saw…

And his funky foot (thank god there is no such thing as smell-o-net) and yes it’s nice and clean now, thank god.

Brandon gets a Cast

Yesterday Brandon had a follow up doctors appointment from his incident last week. We get there to find out they wanted to cast up his foot/leg. Can you believe all this is for a toe?

A Fractured Toe

Brandon ran into on of the kitchen chair legs last night and let it go right between two of his toes. He started yelling and crying. And I look at his toe to see one of this toes over lapping another. Yelling out it burns and don’t touch it. I jump up to rush him to the ER. Thankfully it was only a 2 hour stay in the ER which I think made history as usually it can be a overnight visit just waiting to be seen.

In this picture the toe that was over lapping (the middle toe) doesn’t look as bad as he had bumped it a little while he was sitting down. We go back to see a Orthopedic Dr in a week. I asked him if he was trying to be a Vulcan and give the live long and prosperous sign with his foot instead of his hand.
