We just about died laughing. Kids really do the darnedest things…But at least she’s already thinking of ways to make money…

I was contacted a few days ago from a company mentioning that they liked my blog, asking if I would be interested in writing an article and that I would be paid $50.00 USD to do so. I replied right back, letting them know I was interested and wrote up the article. Today I received my payment via Paypal.

Does that I mean I can officially call myself a professional blogger? Probably not, but hey it sounds good…

Well we made it through the 3 mile walk. But my skin is hating me for it because we all somehow forgot to bring sunscreen. And burn way to easily I look like a big fat lobster waiting for someone to butter me up lol. I raised $130.00 but that was only because I only attempted once to get donations. Had fun though with all kinds of freebies, drinks and food along the way to keep ya going. People of all ages and dogs of all sizes were on the walk.

I’ve gone to this liquor store twice to cash a couple of very small checks i’ve received when I need the money for something right then and didn’t feel like going down to the bank especially since this place is only a block away.

So why this pathetic excuse for a post? Heck I have no reason really…But I do find it a little strange that both times they never once asked me for a form of Identification…

1st time – Walk in tell them I would like to cash the check, they take it asked me if I ever cashed a check there before I say no they walk over to the register and then realized I needed to sign it still. They bring it over have me sign it and bring me back cash.

About two weeks later

2nd time – I walk in telling them I needed to cash a check, I pull it out sign it and hand it to them and before I can get my ID out of my wallet they are handing me cash for it.

So if you need a check cashed and have no ID hit them up chances are you’ll get it cashed. On Main street in El Cajon, CA about a few blocks east of Magnolia Ave and look for this store on the south side (yes you know im a geek if I take a picture of it for blogging purposes)

Years back I looked into being a Notary Public, but never went through with it. I used to know someone about 10 years ago who owned her own business doing it and thought it was pretty cool. So I thought why not look into it as a way to make extra money on the side. And tie it in with my business. So I have signed up to take a 6 hour course/seminar on May 19 to be followed by the 90 minute state exam, get my fingerprints done and await the results from the test which I know I will pass. I am also going to take the extra exam (taken online) to be a Notary Signing Agent. I figure being how I know a few people in Realty, that it can be a bonus…

Well I think the client I just got is going to be the one to pick me up and throw me back on track.

As some of you may know, i’ve had a horrible last 2 weeks when it came to business. And it wasn’t cause I didn’t want to work. It’s more of a lack of work. No one was asking for it, either that or I was just looking in the wrong areas or at the wrong times.

So anyways I like most people, always seem to get chunks of change at a time, And I have a very good feeling about this.

LOL, i’ve been getting my self updated w/ the latest post at wordpress.org/support. There is a a post there that i just had to blog about asking if it’s ok if someone charges $125.00 to install something, of course it is but just a little too pricey, specially since the person was charging $125.00 to set up someone’s blog at wordpress.com which all it takes is the data entry of your email address, and your requested blog name such as heather.wordpress.com lol.

So another user said,

“the answer is: it’s legal for him to charge you $125. but like HandySolo said, it’s fiscal butt rape to charge you for setting something up on wordpress.com”
