Happy Valentines Day

ballonsI wanted to wish all my friends and family a very Happy and Romantic Valentines Day, and also say Happy Anniversary to Robin and Erik.

I know that I will totally enjoy my day with my baby. Yesterday she couldn’t hold back anymore and gave me my gift. Which is this beautiful two tone gold and silver double heart pendant. And this morning I ran off to buy her a small bouquet of balloons and had the kids help with making a big surprise breakfast.

The past nine years I’ve been wearing a amethyst heart pendant that my ex husband MOHCINE had gotten me for our first Valentines Day together. Now it has finally been replaced with this beautiful piece.

Thank you baby from the bottom of my heart I LOVE YOU!

Happy 2009

I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. I hope that 2009 is a beautiful year for you all and all your wishes come true.

The last year has been such an incredible year for me. I have gained my wonderfully sweet and beautiful girlfriend Lela. Her, her children and Brandon have brought so much happiness to my life.

I love you all very much

A not so good shot from our celebration safely at home… as you can see we were very tired and ready for bed (or at least I know I was)

Merry Christmas

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I know that we all did. We started the morning with the kids coming in and waking us up and having us close our eyes as they walked us in to the dining room where they had coffee prepared with creamer and cereal all ready for us to eat. It was a very nice little treat to wake up too.

Here are a couple pics of the kids opening up some of their gifts…

Brandon opening up his long awaited gift of a soft pellet bb gun. I felt like saying “You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”

Lela with her gift from her kids

Ohh yea she hated her pic and didn’t want me to post it… ohh well I think it was a cute picture of her showing off her Bath and Body Works lotion and body wash…

OK Normally I wouldn’t embarrass myself by showing such a bad picture but realize it was 7 a.m. I am still working on my first cup of coffee and I was caught in mid laugh

Brandon was so excited to have me open his gift…

Now if your wondering what Lela and I got for each other. Lela let her kids get me a nice little red blanket for me to cuddle up with, and paid for Brandon’s gift to me.

As for Lela’s gift from me, it was between this fryer and the latest George Foreman grill (she wanted both)

Jingle Bell Hill

Last night I let Lela have some time at home alone (she was in alot of pain and just not feeling well). I grabbed our kids took them to get some hot cocoa and off to Jingle Bell Hill. Alot of people will drive through and look at all the houses but we went ahead and parked the car and walked. Tonight we might go over to another place where they have sleigh rides as well, but can’t promise anything.

Here are some of our pictures from the evening.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without at least something Charlie Brown now would it?

A Night on the Ice

Last night after finally decorating our Christmas tree we got dressed up warm with our intentions of going to Viejas Outlet Center to see the show called “Legend of the Ice Princess” but I obviously wasn’t thinking that it would be canceled due to weather conditions (it’s an outdoor show on ice). So we rented ice skates and let the kids go out on the ice. Brandon didn’t want to go out at first but after a few minutes we convinced him.

The beautiful tree that the skating rink went around.

You can take her out South Central but you can’t take the South Central out of her. LOL She really isn’t like this at all. People are actually shocked to hear that she was raised in South Central.
