What is it about chocolate, and why do nearly all women love it so much? Why do even some prefer it over sex?

Besides it’s great taste that puts a grin on your face with every little bite as it melts in your mouth.

Chocolate contains phenylethylamine, which is a chemical related to amphetamines. The results is that we feel more alert and contentment. It also makes the brain release endorphins, think about how you feel after the BIG O with your significant other. That is the effect from the production of endorphins in your body, which is probably a good reason a number of women prefer to eat chocolate over sex. I would think it’s because its almost guaranteed to satisfy you every time. Phenylethylamine also mimics the feeling you have when your in love, with high levels of phenylethylamine in your body it also relieves depression. This is another one of the reasons why so many women love chocolate – it’s a great mood elevator, from those stressful days at work and or with our families as we take care of everyone. I know that when I’m a lil down I WANT CHOCOLATE!

Pretty much any place i go to eat I will order something spicy either some kind of Cajun dish or something with jalapenos. As far as fast food chains my favorite jalapeno burger up to now was the one found at Carl’s Jr simply called the Jalapeno Burger (I get the regular one and not the Six Dollar one, that one is way too big for me). At other places such as Wendy’s I would settle for the Spicy Baconator, but I’ve never been a huge fan of Wendy’s. Jack in the Box, well I don’t think they do have a spicy hamburger so I always settle for their Stuffed Jalapenos. And for McDonald’s, well lets just say I can’t remember the last time I stepped a foot into one other then to use the rest room on a road trip. But now a new burger steps up to the plate, and I don’t know about anyone else but I love it.

The Angry WHOPPER(r) sandwich is a flame-broiled burger patty topped with sizzling Angry onions, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise topped with Angry sauce on a sesame seed bun.

In the left corner we have the Six Dollar Jalapeno Burger VS the Angry Whopper in the right. If you have tried them let me know which you prefer. Unfortunately I heard that the Angry Whopper will only be around for a lil while.

What woman doesn’t love chocolate? I know I surely do but I have dramatically cut back on my intake of it well at least in candy form (Ice Cream would be a different story). Lela knows how much I love my Lindor Truffles. And grabbed a bag for me while we were out today. What a perfect way along with a couple glasses of wine to start off our 2nd consecutive child free night.

Lela and I found an advertisement with the new holiday coffee creamers that came out. Ever since then we have been on the search for them. The other day I went to three different stores looking for this specific flavor. Today we succeeded in our mission, she decided to stock up on her obsession…

I know I still have posted pics from my Frisco / Sacramento trip. For some reason I just have no desire to go through them. Today I took my friend up to Julian for a slice of pie and a cup of coffee followed by a very short walk around town.

Where we had our pie, people drive from all over to have some Julian Apple Pie, we didn’t let the pie sit long enough on our plates to take a picture of it.

Martha F-ing Stuart? I think not! But I tried to be and soon to be discovered that I failed miserably. Friday was my party night (will post that in a few days when I get pictures together from Angela and Erin). So I decided to attempt to make chocolate covered strawberries. First I go to the store and buy all the things I needed. But the store had a horrible and I mean a horrible selection of strawberries. So I decided to do cherries, YUM! So here my attempt…

12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate morsels melted (I used the microwave for one minute)
¾ cup of half and half
3-4 tablespoons of Brandy (optional)
And one big bag of cherries or strawberries

Here is when I went from being a possible candidate as guest on the Martha show to WTF were you thinking. I decided that since I had some bananas and whipped cream to add them to my plate. Now had I been serving this right away I’m sure it wouldn’t have been such a failure, but I wasn’t. I should have known that the bananas would go a lil funky from sitting in the fridge and I should have known the whipped cream would melt. But also knew that I would have forgotten to take the pictures of it all before serving had a waited.

I had put whipped cream on it and placed it in the freezer to get the chocolate to harden quicker and attempt to keep the whipped cream in it’s place. But five minutes later I realized I forgot to take a picture of it. So ran into the kitchen to get it out and snap away. Well the whipped cream had already melted a little so I had to place more on it for the picture. As you can see I messed up with the freaking whipped cream and obviously I have no perfection skills…

Well not much going on…today Kerri and I went to the Farmer’s Market, I got some great Hummus and Pita Bread. And Kerri got this great little appetizer plate with all kinds of goodies on it.. She actually left it in my fridge and she called later mentioning it, and I thanked her for letting us have it for dinner. How ever that didn’t work. Ohh well better luck next time hahaha.

So anyhow MOHCINE comes home from work today with a bag of German chocolates. That his friend’s mother in law brought in yesterday. I think she must always have one full suitcase of just chocolates lol. Everytime she comes in from Germany we always get chocolates. If I don’t get them from Jeni I always get them from someone else lol. Do I really look like I need them lol. I think next time Jeni and Soenke come in i’ll give them some German chocolates and dinner at this German place in Ocean Beach hahaha. I know what Jeni is thinking now. NO GERMAN FOOD, MUST HAVE FISH TACOS!!!

In my internet news lol, I think I may have broken the record for the most amount of sign ups for a forum that has been open less then 48 hours hahaha at least for me. I have at this moment Members: 94 Threads: 120, Posts: 565,. And I think I may have started advertising it about 30 hours ago.

I also have another forum that I started up shortly after Jeni and I had our dinner together. This forum is in dedication to her http://www.cpaforums.com/. After I bought that domain I was doing searching for other related domains and came up with Taxboards.com Unfortunately I didn’t buy it when i saw it because i was out of funds. And last night when I went to check it again some one else picked up on the domain. I was so very sad, that would of been a very nice investment.

So what is better then making your favorite dish of Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, mushrooms and yummi garlic bread?

Having it followed by ice cream covered with lots of Chocolate Magic Shell. Ohh how I love it, I don’t need it that is for sure, But I sure do love the stuff. I’ve been craving it for a while now…and last night I finally got my fix and in more then one way if you know what I mean.

Today I’m going to make some Chocolate Chip Cookies even more yummi. I am trying to find things to do with my day. And baking will be one of them. I suppose I could always mop the kitchen floor but I really hate doing that YUCK. I need to hire house cleaners so I wont have to do it lol.

I also feel like walking down the street to get my nails done and possibly a pedicure ohh how I need that. The ultimate luxury of having someone else massage your feet.

Well off I go to make some coffee to wake my butt up some more….
