Wine Tasting in Temecula

I got a call Thursday late after noon inviting us to go to Temecula for wine tasting, and as I love wine I didn’t want to say no specially since I couldn’t make it to the last invite. Lela woke up not feeling well yesterday so she wasn’t able to make it. Despite the fact that I was missing her while I was gone. I had a great time.

Before we went to the winery, we drove up about 30 minutes north to pay respects to Grandpa (Angela’s Grandpa). We miss you very much Grandpa and we know that you were at Angela and Adrians wedding in spirit…

Our first winery was at La Cereza Winery which is her Mom’s favorite, then headed over to the Maurice Car’rie Winery which is Angela’s favorite (and mine too). If you like a sweeter fruitier wine Maurice Car’rie is the better choice of the two.

Wedding of the Year

Critics are calling the joining of hands of Adrian and Angela on September 6th, 2009 the wedding of the year as they set cruise on the William D. Evans in the San Diego, CA bay. The reception included two live bands separated by a delicious dinner with wine and champagne, a beautiful firework display, back down to the first floor to the DJ to spining his records (or in this case CD’s and a Mac) with the traditional first dance to the sound of their seven year old daughter singing for them, the money dance where everyone was shaking their money makers with the Bride and Groom… along with the throwing of the bouquet where women get totally out of control fighting over it and garter belt for the men to be followed with the cutting of the cake. After that they enjoyed the dance floor with everyone dancing out of control. Then it was closed with the grooms band taking over with some nice reggae music.

Ok now back from me being silly. I had a great time last night watching my best friend get married. And since I have already described what happened here are some pictures for you.

Waiting for it to begin

I can’t believe I didn’t get a shot of me posing with the groom or bride, other then me hugging them and well they didn’t turn out that great. Maybe the professional shots will come out better….and yes I have pics of me dancing but they are not being shared lol

The Big Wedding

A Double Birthday

Not to many people know or at least they tend to forget that my Sister and I share the same birthday. She was born on my 5th Birthday. She loves to tell me that she’s the best present I could ever get. We start the celebration of my Birthday last night (the eve of our Birthday). I was told to go to my room and Brandon brought me a glass and bottle of wine that Lela had bought. As I laid there watching a movie and playing Sudoku sipping on my wine they were in the kitchen baking my birthday cake. After it was all decorated we started the celebrations…

Not the best picture, but had to share one of the shots from my Birthday Eve party (I think in all the pictures I have my eyes shut from laughing)

Then our two heads almost collide as we go to blow out the candles, Of course with all the kids around they had to help (even though we kept the fire risk down to a minimum with only two candles
