Not sure what too say about tonights two crazy contestants. But I do look forward to next weeks when they are here in San Diego, California.

Here we have Douglas Davidson waving his arms and attempting to warm up which didn’t seem to help much while he tried to sing “Living on a Prayer”

Then we have Renaldo Lapuz with his own personal song “were brothers forever” this just left me speechless.

Well with the latest technology I have (which is my sling box) I bring u two crazy contestants from January 15th’s episode.. (I am not sure why the video and audio on these doesn’t match up correctly, the actual video on my laptop plays fine but after uploading to youtube it doesn’t seem to match up)

First we have James Lewis signing “Go down Moses” why do people tell others they should try out for AI when they can’t sing?

Then we have Paul Marturano who scares the judges with his song to Paula and his wanting to stalk her and wear her underwear among a few other things.

It’s been a while since i’ve blogged about American Idol. Finally I have a really good reason to, because Sanjaya Malakar is finally going home! In my opinion he had no real talent other then to get people’s attention with his wild hair ideas. Their was plenty of other people who should of stayed besides him. I honestly believe the only reason he was in Idol so long is because of all the teeny boppers going crazy with their cell phones sending in text messages to vote while raising up Mom and Dad’s phone bill. Simon Cowell said earlier in the season

“If Sanjaya Wins American Idol This Season, I Will Leave American Idol. Pick Me Or Sanjaya!”

Well looks like we will still have to deal with Simon, but ohh well, would rather have him then have Sanjaya win. When they announced he was going home tonight I screamed out “YES!!!” so loud that Brandon came out to see what happened, oops.

My concern now is Lakisha….What is she doing in the bottom three? While I pretty much love every performance of hers. None of them can compete with her first performance. I heard earlier that she was helping Sanjaya giving him tips and getting close with him as friends. But now he is gone, will she make it back up and concentrate on her?

Come on girl you need to get your head back into the game…

My favorite performance from last night’s episode of American Idol is My Funny Valentine by Melinda Doolittle.

If it comes down to choosing between Lakisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle it would be a very difficult choice. Nice to see that this backup singer has finally taken the few steps up to center stage to make it to stardom.

I was just able to watch last nights American Idol (thank god for DVR) and Blake Lewis tore it up. He instantly became my #1 favorite male contestant with Jamiroquai’s Virual Insanity. As soon as the song came on I instantly turned up the sound on the stereo and wanted to dance. I just love that song always have. Loved how me mixed the beat boxing into it way to go Blake

Randy and Paula said some great things about him but Simon’s opinion just sucks.

WOW is all anyone can say after last night’s performance by Lakisha Jones. I got instant goosebumps with her voice.

Even if she doesn’t make it all the way (which I would be suprised) i’m sure she will pick up a contract somewhere…

I somehow got sucked into watching American Idol this year as I’ve been watching it since the 2nd episode.

It all started when Angela called me the Tuesday morning of the second week to mention that it was coming on that night. Later on that night I happen to mention something about it and refered to it as “our” American Idol. That is when she got upset, and said to me, “Ohh no you didn’t” and said that I couldn’t call it “our’s” untill I watched the whole season and I had to vote. So I said OK no problem, she said, “well will see” And now you find me blogging about it.

Tonight they narrowed down the contestants to 24, 12 women 12 men.
