Lela and I were in the bedroom talking when all the sudden her daughter runs in asking the following…
“Mom, can one day we go beatboxing in front of the mall for money?”
We just about died laughing. Kids really do the darnedest things…But at least she’s already thinking of ways to make money…
The other night we were all in our room loungin around laughing and just talking nonsense. Lela’s daughter brought up something at school and mentioned something was gay.
“Do you know what gay means?” I asked
Unsure I believe she replied with “No”
I replied with “It means happy”
To be responded with, “So happy people can’t get married?”
as you can imagine the room filled with laughter for the next minute or two…
So it seems that both Lela and I need to get our ears cleaned out. First we had Lela thinking I said “I like gravy” as posted in the Cravings VS Gravy Post. Now it was me who miss understood. I started laughing so hard. Just had to share it with you. So all day today she has been asking me “Can I ask you a question? Do you like gravy?”
This is an odd conversation with someone I had on Yahoo tonight. Why do I have all these bizarre conversations? Where do they all come from?
Because I have so many strange conversations I decided to add another category “Strange Conversations”.
This guy asked me why I was using his surname as my Yahoo ID (username). Apparently he doesn’t think more then one person can have the same last name… I have also edited his username on Yahoo for this blog post…
