Believe it or not I was never a big fan of New Kids on the Block but most of my friends were. Angela calls me up this morning saying, “ohh my god” x 3, I asked what and she came back with “NKOTB are coming back and Donnie is on 93.3 they are going to play their song in a few minutes go listen to it”. I listened to it and would have to say I think it’s a lil lame. They are also doing auditions for their video which will be done here in San Diego.

Here is the song

DonWell it’s pretty bad when your first post in a while is because you feel the need to write your first bad review of a CD. Normally I wouldn’t even bother but when it’s supposed to be a tribute to one of your favorite artist.

Smooth Jazz Tribute to Jill Scott

I was checking out Amazon to check if Ms Jill Scott had a new CD, a friend of mine asked me last night if I had her new CD (The Real Thing: Words And Sounds Vol. 3, is the latest and yes I have it of course). But I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything and searched and happened to find this Tribute CD with the sounds of Smooth Jazz. Don’t get me wrong as most of you know I LOVE Jazz. But thankfully I never waisted my money on such crap. They could of least used a live band, it sounds like it was all done with a synthesizer and a bad one at that. Everything is way out of tune and they came no where close to capturing Jill’s sultry sounds.

If I were Jill Scott I think I would be pretty pissed off that someone tried to make a tribute to me that sounded this bad.

Not sure what too say about tonights two crazy contestants. But I do look forward to next weeks when they are here in San Diego, California.

YEA BABY!!! (and no i’m not in it)

Here we have Douglas Davidson waving his arms and attempting to warm up which didn’t seem to help much while he tried to sing “Living on a Prayer”

Then we have Renaldo Lapuz with his own personal song “were brothers forever” this just left me speechless.
