She Can Discipline Me Anytime

What I wouldn’t do to be picked by Janet Jackson at her concert and be pulled up onto her stage and teased. Yes Lela you know I love you, but damn you know she is SEXY

A while ago I found this clip from her concert in Hawaii.

Now today I share with you a performance in Oakland to her song Discipline, Lyrics I previously posted here. Once again she knows how to tease the sh*t out of someone… Jermaine is one lucky guy to be with her lol

Feeling the Music

musicfeelingMusic is often referred to as “The International Language”. We might not understand the words but we all understand the music being played enough to move and dance and most of all, enjoy the music being played.

Now lets get on to feeling the music, The popular saying “Music soothes the savage beast” is very true. Music affects all of us, just some a lil or alot more then others. It can help calm us down after a busy, hectic, and or stressful day or do the opposite and lift us up from being tired, sad and or depressed. So in my opinion the right song at the right time can be the perfect drug.

Music can influence your mood in many ways which include the following:

1. Entertainment – At the most fundamental level music provides stimulation. It lifts the mood before going out, it passes the time while doing the washing up, it accompanies traveling, reading and surfing the web.

2. Revival – Music revitalizes in the morning and calms in the evening.

3. Strong sensation – Music can provide deep, thrilling emotional experiences, particularly while performing.

4. Diversion – Music distracts the mind from unpleasant thoughts which can easily fill the silence.

5. Discharge – Music matching deep moods can release emotions: purging and cleansing.

6. Mental work – Music encourages daydreaming, sliding into old memories, exploring the past.

7. Solace – Shared emotion, shared experience, a connection to someone lost.

The above was borrowed from PsyBlog

Music has the ability to express everything you are feeling, everything you want to feel, everything you can’t or won’t say……It has the ability to feed your soul.

How does it effect you?

T. Irie Dread

It’s very exciting to me to see and announce that my best friend Angela’s fiance Adrian’s band “T. Irie Dread” finally make it on to Amazon.com and iTunes. Here is a lil something written by a writer for the San Diego Union Tribune “this band makes authentic reggae. The good kind, too, not the reggae that features a frat guy with dreads and an electric guitar. Your ears are safe.” Nina Garin; Sept. 25th, 2008 – San Diego Union Tribune

Chante Moore – Love the Woman

chantemoore.jpgLela and I’s love for the CD is just to great for me not to give this beautiful CD that was released in June of 2008 special attention on my blog.

Chante Moore possesses a soothing voice and carries herself with class and grace in her return from nearly a decade of being absent from the music scene. Some would say that her lyrics are old, but we both found ourselves far from disappointment.

Tracklist:

1. Always Gonna Be Something
2. Can’t Do It*
3. Special*
4. It Ain’t Supposed to Be This Way
5. My Eyes*
6. Give Me Time
7. Do for You*
8. Love the Woman*
9. Love Action
10. First Kiss*
11. Guess Who I Saw Today*

While we love all the tracks * notes our favorites

Discipline me Baby!

disciplineThis song “Discipline” by Janet Jackson is such the song for Lela and I. I’ve had this CD for a while, but I just listened to it again since being in my relationship with Lela a few days ago and was in such awe when I heard this song again… It’s currently the ringtone when she calls me. Although I often think it should be the ringtone for when I call her lol.

Here are the lyrics…

I misbehaved, done some things I know I shouldn’t do
I touched myself, even though you told me not to
you commanded me to wait for you I tried
But I can smell you on my sheets
Taste you on my skin so vividly
Daddy I disobeyed you
Now I want you to come punish me

Babe I need some discipline tonight
Don’t hold back
I’ve been very bad
Make me cry
Oooo…
Got to make me cry
Oooo…
Babe
[2x]

Oh… misbehaved
And my punishment should fit my crime
Tie me to something
Take off all my clothes
Daddy I want you to take your time (I’m scared)
My heart is beating fast
Shiver as you grab my neck
Baby, blindfold me Daddy
Is better when I don’t know what to expect

Babe I need some discipline tonight
Baby Don’t hold back
I’ve been very bad
Oooo…
Daddy Make me cry
Oooo…
Got to make me cry
Oooo…
Babe
[2x]

Did I upset you Daddy
Take out your frustrations on me
Did I make you mad
Take out your frustrations on me
you be the teacher I’ll be the student
Tell me to do it, and I will do it
I’m under your command
you be the teacher I’ll be the student
Tell me to do it, and I will do it

Babe I need some discipline tonight
Baby don’t hold back
I’ve been very bad
Oooo…
Daddy make me cry
Oooo…
Daddy to make me cry
Babe

Take out your frustrations on me
Take out your frustrations on me
Take out your frustrations on me
