Ok so I really have nothing blog worthy, but thought to show you the latest additions to my place thanks to Angela. Some of the benefits from helping your dear friend move and she is moving in with her fiance.

In the short period of time that I have had this I have received so many complements on this computer armoire. I made sure to make room for it. (sorry for the blurriness)

I’ve loved this shelf ever since I first saw it in Angela‘s bathroom. So I made sure to snag it up, I just recently put the live plant (need to place it in a nice pot though) and still need to remove the ohh so obvious fake plant.

And of course i can never have to many candle holders, which I still need to get candles for, these are in my bedroom.

When you go and buy furniture from Ikea, you can expect two things. First of them very low in price, and second which usually always goes with the first… Low in quality. I’ve had this coffee table for a lil over a year. Matter of fact it’s my second one in two years, the first one broke right away. But I got another cause I have two end tables that go with it, and they kinda blend in with my furniture in my living room. Anyhow, so this table has been on it’s last leg (no pun intended) for a while now. It holds our stuff on it, but it’s very unstable. Every time I have to move it to vacuum, I’m so afraid it’s just going to collapse.

So the other day I came up with the grand idea of how I can keep it up and going just a lil longer. I’ll go to my local Home Depot and get some braces and screws and give the legs more support to the top. But just be warned I never said I was Bob Vila, I’m more like Tim Allen’s character from the old Home Improvement show.

The parts I purchased.. let’s see $7 and some change or $80 and up for a new one (and remembering that your broke)?

The table in question

These are the candles, wait it looks more like a gob of wax with the rocks mixed in on top of the table, this is what happens when you decided to burn cheap candles for too long.

Last night while waiting for a friend of mine I decided to have some nice me time. I lite candles through out the house, had incense burning and music playing while I sat and relaxed while sipping on a lil something. Wanted to share two of my candle holders I have mounted on my wall from PartyLite.

Ok after deciding that I don’t think my bedroom will ever fully be completely decorated I’m going to share it with you all. And yes today I finally broke what I wrote in a previous post regarding no electronics in the bedroom and purchased a stereo for it. I decided that I NEED music in my room for many reasons (which I care to keep personal, haha). I purchased one that was a little bigger then I would of liked to have but it had the best sound. I’m really picky about my music and the the way it sounds. One of my favorite things about it besides that it plays MP3 disc is that it has a USB port on the front to hook up Ipods, and other storage devices. Specially since you can load up a media card alot quicker then burning a disc.

Anyhow here is my bedroom before move in

And cause I have nothing better to do right now close ups lol. Can you tell I love candles?

It’s been almost a month since my last installment of “Cribs – Blog Style”. So far you’ve seen the livingroom, bathroom and diningroom. Today is my little kitchen.

Kitchen before move in. Not sure why they painted the cabinets white and never put another coat of paint on to cover the knots in the wood.

Here is my next installment of “Cribs – Blog Style” displaying my dining room. Again nothing real special. Not real big so not much I can do with it.

Dining room before the move in..

Dining room as of today minus my table cloth which needs to be cleaned..I originally had the trash can in the long cabinet to the left of it. But decided to place my vacuum, broom and mop in there. Besides for some reason it gets really really dirty if you have the trash can in there, because people have less desire to make sure the trash actually makes it in the can (I too am guilty of this). Since most of the time there is just Brandon and I here at the apartment I have no need to have the table pulled out away from the wall. So I have it pushed against the wall to save space.

Here is my wine rack that I just picked up the other day then headed to costco to buy a half case of white zin to put something in it lol. I know I will never use the serving rack on top so I want to put a big plant on top of it with the leaves flowing off the edges… Eventually the rack will be filled with wines. I have a set of wine glasses that will not hang from the rack. They are too thick at the bottom (where they hang from) they are huge glasses. So big that if you were to fill them up one glass will hold 1/2 a bottle of wine.

I decided to post my next installment of “Cribs – Blog Style” I sure am posting this alot sooner then I thought I would. I was a lil bored after Brandon went to bed and thought, “Why not?” So tonight I will show you my bathroom. Your probably thinking, “Who post pictures of their bathroom? normal people don’t do that, and you don’t have a marvelous house to be bragging about” well guess what? I’m not normal lol. Besides this is my blog and it does say at the top “Step into my life” which is one reason I like to let the photos do the blogging for me.

So anyhow to the right you see my bathroom as it was before I moved in UGLY UGLY UGLY. Pictures below are not all great and beautiful but a huge improvement, especially since I got a new shower curtain and rug. Now my towels are not matching so much anymore… err will It ever be done? I dont’ think so, I need to get a hand towel rack to place over to the right of the sink since it’s so empty there. And now my shelf in there totally doesn’t match but I need to have it for all my bathroom stuff, since there is no place to put it all.

I’ve had people ask me if i’m going to post before and after pics of my apartment, and I said that I probably will. I was planning on doing it all in one post but I don’t think my whole apartment will ever be completely clean all at once for me to do that. Besides that it will take forever to load that many pictures up. So tonight I was looking through the help wanted section of the newspaper and making my marks for possible jobs. When I was done for the night I thought I would do a shot of my living room.

So here is the my first installment of “Cribs – Blog Style” of my livingroom from my dining room area next will probably be my bathroom or bedroom so stay tuned.

My friend Rochelle really loves the new place and finds it alot more comforting then the house we used to live in and I really have to agree with her.

Ohh Yea, let me bring ya in for a closer look at my fish tank with plastic plants and all (well all plastic except for the bamboo on the right). For some reason only 1 fish can barely be seen in this picture… Guess I should of taken a better picture with all of the tank and not the edges cut off.

I was in my bathroom the other day cleaning up and I was thinking that the space above my towel racks is so plain. And that is when I thought of displaying more of my photos. And since I already have ocean pictures in my bathroom I thought I would stick with the theme this time with boats. These are matted frames to hold 5 x 5 prints just so you have an idea of the size.

After taking this picture and looking at it it seems that the right picture needs to be lowered just a tad and maybe to the right a smidge but I already spent enough time trying to get them straight as it is (I NEED ONE OF THOSE LASER BEEM THINGIES). If you think i should rearrange the pictures in a different order let me know which ones should go where (like ACB or BAC etc etc).

This picture is of the pictures I had already up as shown in this post in our previous home just rearranged differently. An 8 X 10 and the two are 5 X 7′s. I also am wanting to buy bigger frames for the two smaller ones… With them not having the matting they are bugging me.
