E-40 – The Ball Street Journal

40.jpgIt’s hard for many to believe that I not only love RnB and Jazz but I love Rap. One of my favorite who I listen to at least once a day is E-40. And yes believe it or not I have and listen to all 11 of his CD’s which sit on my Ipod in my car. I often wonder what people think when they see me driving down the street bumpin Forty. My love for hip hop and rap is how I actually got my nick name Heath-loc from my brother.

After listening to it I wanted to share my favorites marked with a “*”

Before I start to get possible hate emails I do not endorse everything that Forty may mention, I also do not listen to this while there are children in the car or in the house.

Dumb Asses

Going Bald and Still Sexy

Yesterday we went to the beach for a nice little walk. We let the kids run wild in the sand and Lela and I relaxed up on the boardwalk talking to people as they walked by and trying to get this one guy who came back to us three times trying to take our picture together (or in other words steal our camera) to leave us alone.

I took this picture of Lela when her hair was being wild from the wind blowing. When we got home last night she wanted me to touch it up and somehow that turned into her asking me to cut all her hair off.

I Miss Her

My now good friend Nyia moved back home to Northern Cali up by the Bay with her girlfriend and her two kids about two months ago. Those of you who personally know me, know how much this girl drove me nuts. As well as I’m sure I did the same to her. At one point we used to argue like we were a married couple. But the last two months she was here we had finally found our peace. We talk on the phone every day just about but I still miss her “Big Black Ass” as she refers to herself.

I miss you girl and love you, can’t wait to see you again…I’m so glad you finally found the perfect person for you. I wish you all the happiness in the world for you and your new little family.

Here are two of my favorite pics of her, totally feeling herself (hey nothing wrong with feeling yourself)…and I’m not referring to self physical pleasure lol although there is nothing wrong with that either….

Gay VS Happy

The other night we were all in our room loungin around laughing and just talking nonsense. Lela’s daughter brought up something at school and mentioned something was gay.

“Do you know what gay means?” I asked
Unsure I believe she replied with “No”
I replied with “It means happy”
To be responded with, “So happy people can’t get married?”

as you can imagine the room filled with laughter for the next minute or two…
