I put an ad in the personals on craigslist.org a few times over the last year. I have met a few cool friends on there, but mainly allot of freaks email you. And I’m pretty straight to the point in what I want. I specifically say no men and it’s posted in the w4w section but they still email me, so I just learn to ignore them.

Here is one of the email’s I received from a woman

hello, my name is (removed name). i am 24 and interested in meeting and having you show me what to do. I am recently divorced and have had this part of my life i am now interested in filling. Here a couple of me (referring to pictures), take care and hope to hear back soon, (removed name)

Now besides from her only being 24 (yes age is nothing but a number, but that is to young for me) which already told me I didn’t want to pursue it. This next email is what made me stop this is after I asked her if she had ever been with a woman before, which is another thing I don’t want is to be with a first timer.

no i haven’t but want too. i have talked and thought about it a lot. i want to get intimate with another female… i have always had an urge and want to taste a p**sy and suck on the nipples. u know that you could be the one to teach me… can you or would you?

I simply wrote back “I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll be the right one for ya” and that was that. I just think it’s not a great idea to get straight to the sex talk.

Then the other night when I was up late and online (when am I not?) reading blogs forums and what not I got an email from yahoo personals (my ad has been up there for about a year) saying I received a message (one of a few that I’ve received over time). I go there and this woman that had sent me an ice breaker before contacted me again. This time she had paid for a membership so she was able to email people. Unfortunately though because I didn’t have a paid account the email address she provided was blanked out. So I decided I was going to look for her through other sites. And just happen to find her on MySpace I sent a request to be friends after explaining who I was. The next day I was added and had a beautifully laid out letter that was so real and to the point. WOW is all I said after reading this I had never been so intrigued by someone so quickly. I responded back and received another message to give her a call with her number. Now usually, I am very shy when it comes to that and ask them to call me. But with her I couldn’t dial her number quick enough.

We both agree how it’s almost scary with how much we have in common. We both have a complete love for music and more importantly the same style of music (to people like us that is a important thing to have in common) and we also agree on the same movies. We even found out today that we both have a thing for the others ethnicity. We both love to get into deep discussions about life, love and music. And the words this woman uses drive me crazy (in a good way). I hope that we eventually take it a step further and actually meet up soon. In time it will happen I’m sure, as we have been yacking on the phone so much the past 2 days.
