A Night with the Queens
Tonight was a blast…My Mom, Kerri, Trish (friend of family) and I all went to LIPS which is a restaurant / dinner theater with Drag Queens. This place is a happening place that requires reservations be set at least 1 week in advance from the day you want to come and that is still cutting it close to not getting a table. We went for my Mom’s Birthday that was the other day. Food is delicious, great drinks and wonderful deserts.
I ordered…
OPHELIA - Linguini Off the Half-Shell
Shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, & calamari simmered in a white wine, garlic sauce, fresh herbs, & chopped tomatoes served over pasta.
I kept my drinks to a min I ordered a peach cosmopolitan (thought of you Robin, when thinking of what to order), white russian (yea i got boring then), and ended it with a shot of donkey punch.
Although this place alows people of all ages from babies on up…. They do have mouth’s on them and are very sexual. So I don’t recommend it for people who can’t handle such talk. We must of heard the word bitch/bitches at least 200 times tonight.
I can’t wait to go back but will have to be a while as it’s definitially not a cheap place to go on a regular basis. So till next time here are some pictures I took…Sorry not all of them came out real well..

Anyone who is celebrating anything at lips gets a free cake and gets to go on stage with the girls for their seconds of fame. Mom got up there they asked her how old she was and when she said they screamed out “Girl we don’t go up that high, tonight your 39.95. Then commented on her black skirt and heels and black stockings, saying they were going to hike up her skirt a lil more and send her out down a few blocks to work the street haha.

I wanna go! There is not a place like Lips out here, but there a couple of gay bars that have drag reviews a night or two a week. Maybe sometime I can check out one of those. Next time I come out to SD, we are going to Lips, right?

LMAO LOOKS like a LOT of fun! I should take my hubby there to celebrate his 30th! LOL! Its something different, him and my mom in law share a birthday so that would be something memorable!
Not sure how he would react to that lol its either that or throw him a little something here at the house. We will see I have roughly 6 months to work it out!
