And Now Mice…

mouse-trap.jpgI tell ya if it’s not one critter is another. As most of you know I’ve posted about many critters while living in this house. Let’s see we have had gophers, black widows, big oops I mean HUGE grasshoppers, freaky looking moth’s, and now we have mice. At least everything else stays out of the house, but not these. Guess that is what you get when you live out by the mountains. So off to the store I will go to get mouse traps. This is when I wish I had a cat. Lucy acts up a little when she sees it but yesterday I saw it for a brief second and Lucy didn’t budge at all.

I also purchased the little tombstone I said I would get for my front yard. They had two different ones. This one (shown below) and another that said “I’ll be back”. There was no way I was going to get that. Especially when your Governor had made that phrase popular and when ever you think of it or say it, you automatically say it like you were the Terminator.

I decided I wasn’t’ going to buy much more for Halloween decorations this year. Maybe one or two more things. I really need to start buying stuff for Christmas, being how I don’t have any ornaments. So feel free to send me some :fingerscrossed: lol.

    Be nice to the mice!
You will have a great time shopping for Christmas decorations. I know this will be a very special Christmas for you.

Oh, what happened to the cute little dog by the mailbox?

We had mice, it was disgusting. We got these little mouse traps that they are supposed to go into and get stuck in. We also got some poison pellets. I don’t know what killed them (or if they just disappeared) but we haven’t seen them since.

I still think Aurora or Pilot should have taken care of it for us.

Robin, Yes cat’s should know to take care of those things, but for some reason they never do.

Holidays must be much more fun for you now !

They don’t really celebrate Halloween in Germany like we do in the States – it’s a lot more scaled down. They have something else in February called Carnival where people get dressed up in costumes.

Yes they will be Jeni, although I really tried to enjoy them over the years. It just wasn’t the same…
