This was an odd conversation that I just had right before getting ready to start my day. We were talking and then this came up… I’m blogging this so she can read it all here, since for some reason she didn’t want to scroll up to read what she had actually said.

Yep with my life and it’s drastic changes, it’s forcing me to find a job. Not only that, but Jeni made me promise her that I would start looking right away for one. So tomorrow I will be picking up the Sunday paper to open them up to the help wanted section. No longer will I accept just any job I need to have a M-F 9-5 job as I need to be home for my boy. So in order for me to put my head in the right spot, Jeni pretty much told me in a nice way I need to get my ass in gear, less blogging, less chatting and more get up and go. Thankfully I already have a resume that i’ve kept updated over the years, just needs a little extra fine tuning. Then I get to start faxing it away.

Wanted to write a little post to let you know that i’m still here and that everything is going decently well. Had a nice little Christmas but thankful that it’s finally all over. Now it’s time for the New Years. I’ve been meaning to blog, but been really busy with organizing my place more by going through and getting rid of things I no longer need. The other night I ended up with two huge boxes of things I wanted to throw away and another box or two of things to sell or give away. I had a box of VHS tapes I’ve been lugging around, I thought to my self why am I keeping this anymore when my VCR broke yrs ago and I have most of the movies on DVD. Then I have a box of books that i’ve read years ago.

Anyhow so far I have no plans for New Years eve. Was hoping to have Angela and Rochelle over friday night for a pre new years get together, but doesn’t look good. Angela is still up at Disneyland and has been there since Tuesday morning. Guess she is having a good ole time up there with her kids. This is their 3rd time going up there in the last six months. To me when you go there that often it seems that it just wouldn’t be so magical anymore.

Ok enough rambling and blogging about nonsense, Hope to have something more blogworthy later on.

Tyson and Kerri gave us one of their gingerbread house kits they had. Today Brandon and I attempted to put it together and decorate it. I started it and let Brandon finish it, I was getting so frustrated trying to go for perfection but it didn’t turn out the way I was hopping it too. Brandon kept telling me “mom it looks great” I let im finish it up. Here is our little unfinished house
