Out of Tape

tape1.jpgToday I brought over some of my boxes over to the new house. Was planning on doing some painting but couldn’t because we realized we didn’t have the handles for the rollers just the heads. Kerri’s (my sister in law) Sister used to live in the house and started to paint it when she moved in, but never completed it so everything is there except the handles for the rollers, it just sucked. I could of easily gone to get some but by that time I was just hungry and it was just so freaking hot. So after we brought in my boxes, I took some photos of the house to email over to a friend. Then went next door to my brothers house to order some lunch. Ohh yea and almost forgot to mention, my total weight loss is now 40lbs.

After that I came home to start packing more, then got a phone call from Uhaul to reserve my truck which is what I thought I did last week when they told me I could pick it up in the morning. Except they told me they wouldn’t have a truck till 2 p.m. which totally sucks. I was a little ticked off but ohh well what can I do? Absolutely nothing, everyone is booked up because it’s the first. So I go to continue packing and i start to realize i’m running out of boxes and then damn I’m out of tape too. So now I just have to wait till MOHCINE gets home with more boxes and more tape.

Right as I was writing this MOHCINE stopped by with a few boxes, a hand cart, and the movie “Syriana” which is another movie I’ve been waiting to see, WAY TO GO BABY!!

Plain White Walls

Some of my PicturesToday I got a lot of packing done, got my bathroom taken care of, more of my kitchen stuff packed up, and now I also have very white walls as I took down all my pictures (except my huge mirror and another huge painting in my bedroom, as they are safer on the walls for now) and it’s driving me nuts. Which brings up another subject. Where i’m moving the walls are not going to be white WOO HOO lol. I’m so sick of having plain white walls. So I think my furniture will even better in the new place.

Today I also squeezed some time in to touch up my new site that I’ve been working on. It’s coming along nicely, at least I think so. It’s very basic and very simple, well at least for now.

Last nights movie “The Hills Have Eyes” was pretty good IMO, Had me jumping a few times and cringing. Very gory, but my demented self loves it. And yes Angela did make her way over here. After that movie was over, I played “Hostel” for her, since she hadn’t seen it yet.

A Stinky Dog and a Movie

thehillshaveeyes.jpgWell today I totally skipped out on the idea of packing… I guess that just means I have to work twice as hard tomorrow, considering I only have 2 more days till we move. Anyhow I went driving around today getting out and about, and taking photos for a new site I’ve been working on. Once It’s more complete I will give up the link. Treated my self to a Arby’s Roast Beef sandwich. Then remembered I was over by Petsmart. So I ran in to get some Skunk Odor Eliminator to wash Lucy with it as well as a new tooth brush and beef flavored toothpaste, that to me just sounds so gross, but I’m sure she will love it trying to lick everything.

So now i’m at home, I went to check my myspace.com account and saw and advertisement for the movie “The Hills Have Eyes” so I immediately call Angela to see if she wants to come over to watch it with us. I’m still not sure if she is, but I hope so. Then I go to call MOHCINE to ask him to bring it home for us. Since Hollywood Video is right across the street from where he parks. He knew just from the name of the movie that it was a horror film. I surely hope it’s as good as I heard it was.

Plot Summary from the IMDB

Wes Craven produces this remake of his 1977 classic of the same name, about the Carters, an idyllic American family travelling through the great American southwest. But their trip takes a detour into an area closed off from the public, but more importantly from society. An area originally used by the U.S. Government for nuclear testing that was intended to be empty…or so they thought? When the Carter’s car breaks down at the old site, they’re stranded…or are they? As the Carters may soon realize that what seemed like a car casually breaking down, might actually be a trap. This trap might be perpetrated by the inhabitants of the site who aren’t pulling a prank, but are out to set up a gruesome massacre.

So after I watch it and find some time to blog either again tonight or tomorrow, I will let you know what I thought of it.

Lucy The Skunk Hunter

Lucy's VictimOhh my, just when I though I had nothing to blog about today/tonight. It was about 12:30 in the morning I’m online chatting with my mom. Then she decides to call me instead of typing. So i’m relaxing on my sofa chatting away looking at a house online that she wants to try and buy. The front door is wide open, Lucy is sitting in the door way right outside. All the sudden I hear Lucy jump up and here lots of wrestling around outside. I step up put my laptop on the coffee table, to look outside. I see Lucy out there throwing her head back and forth like she had a chew toy, but nope she had a black furry thing with a nice big white stripe on it yep Lucy had a skunk. I freaked out…running into our bedroom to get MOHCINE, saying Lucy got a skunk. That didn’t wake him up, but the smell surely did. What a way to wake up from sleeping, having your wife burst into the bedroom scared and unsure of what to do and letting the stench come right on in. But then again I don’t think you can escape the stench of a skunk. Tomato Juice here we come. Let me tell you the smell is definitely a lot different then the usual smell. So after MOHCINE took care of the animal and cleaned up he went back to sleep. I don’t know how he was able to, I surely wasn’t able to even think about it. After it was all done MOHCINE, my Mom and myself were all thinking that this must of been some stupid skunk to walk into the yard with a big lab sitting in it. Glad she was at the door way and the skunk didn’t try and come in my house. And I am even more happier that we are moving cause the smell will last for a long time I’m sure outside. Bad enough it will probably leave a smell on our stuff in the house. More cleaning to do I’m sure.

Oh and YES Lucy does have her rabies shots up to date…
