Well what happens when your testing new features for your hosting service, your not thinking, and you don’t always back up your sites….
You lose it.
Yes that is correct. Today I just realized I deleted my blog off my server by accident. I wont even go into how i did it. I’m just thankful it was my site and not someone elses lol.
So all the post of yesterdays days are gone. Maybe this will be an incentive for me to start posting on my blog as its been a while….

I was wondering what happened! I looked once and there was nothing there…Oh well, it’s a new year, you can start over fresh! Happy New Year!

Well i could of grabbed a back up of it had i noticed it sooner… but every weekend the previous back up gets overwritten.
Yeah, I had a similar enlightenment today. I’ve decided that backups and updates go hand-in-hand. If you update, backup; simple as that. You’re already farting around on your site anyway, go ahead and take five minutes to download the backups. Had I done that last night while I was updating, I wouldn’t have a site that is now reverted to the state it was in before two hours of labor/the-joy-of-webmastering. I don’t really want to get into it, though. Happy blogging!
