Still here

Ok so Kerri says to me that I haven’t posted in a while, I went from posting everyday to going days w/o posting at all. I say again that is all due to me working on Ms Jeni’s site which I will now post a link to being how its coming along so nicely Professional Traveler . You can check your 10 day weather forecast, check status of a flight coming in or going, conversions of all kinds (money, metric, time zones) embassy locator, forums, gallery and of course some incredible articles. Ohh yea and a fun little “Are YOU a professional traveler” quiz. Which I find is something that you must do.

To my life now….

Life has been kinda slow for me, haven’t been doing much due to the above. Saturday night MOHCINE and I along with two other couples all went to Ali Baba Restaurant which has great has great Middle Eastern food.

We ordered the: Feast for Five People (feeds more like eight lol)
5 skewers of Kabob, 5 Skewers of Beef Tekka, 5 Skewers of Chicken Tekka, Shawarma, Cream Chop, Salad, Rice, Burghel and hummos (the best hummus I have ever had).

Still Kicking (literally)

So you may be asking why I named my title that…. LOL If you only knew….

I’ve been neglecting my blog recently because most of you know that i’m working on a new project for Ms Jeni. So today I got away from it all. Took my baby to work came home had a cup of coffee and headed out to Kerri’s house (w/o the laptop). We had a friend of the family over that we get to see every couple of months. Ordered some Pizza for the kids and of course for us too. Had a few good laughs. Our friend left around 2:30 ish. I was actually was thinking of leaving about the same time. But stayed for about another 45 minutes or so. Got up to go leave and Kerri’s little Jack Russle Terrier starts barking and going crazy. For some reason he doesn’t like it when people leave. Well usually Kerri will get her spray bottle and squirt him when he is out of control. So I said that’s it (in a joking way) and was heading to get the spray bottle. Right then she was telling me how her dog bit her cousin’s ( i think it was her cousin) toe and made it bleed a little. So she said how she kicked the dog back. I told her I would of too lol. So right at that moment that im about to go into the kitchen her dog starts to bite my feet. Thank god I had my shoes on, and they were a little long in the toe. He just went crazy and wouldn’t let go. No matter how much i shook him. If he got loose he went for the other foot. I couldn’t help but to laugh. It was hillarious but at the same time it hurt a little cause every so often he would actually get the tips of my toes. Kerri was sitting on the floor cause she just got done changing a babies diaper. And she couldn’t get up because she was laughing so hard at me. I was beet red from laughing, I was laughing so hard that I wasn’t breathing. Finally she was able to get up and get the dog off and put him in her room for me to leave. Well at that time I was so out of breath that I couldn’t leave just yet. So we sat there for another 20 minutes just laughing here and there about the situation. He has never done such a thing. Normally he just barks a little.

I bet Kerri would pay money to see that sh*t again.

So after I left there I headed to pick up MOHCINE. Then to Hollywood Video to do our Tuesday night DVD rentals. Today we got two movies:

The Ring 2: It was okay. I really only got it because I have already seen the first one and we signed up for the rent one rental get one free deal. So I just figured it was a freebie.

Beauty Shop: Now that is a great movie. Definitially has some great quotes in it. Stars Queen Latifah, Alicia Silverstone, Andie MacDowell and so many others. One of my favorite lines in the movie was.

(referring to her daughter)Raising her is almost as hard as it was to make her, He had a curve I had to come around the corner to get on it.

When we heard that we both started laughing so hard.

Well anyways it’s going on midnight here in Cali. I had a full 5 hours sleep last night. So I probably should go to bed here soon.

Ahh nice and quiet

Well yesterday I spent the early afternoon cleaning up the house. Ran to the grocery store to buy groceries for dinner and breakfast for my mom and the girls. Then drove out to pick them up. Came back relaxed for a few minute (or at least as much as you can when having a 5 and a soon to be 7 year old running around and asking a billion questions). Made dinner and some chocholate fudge brownies with vanilla ice cream. YUM! After that was all done it was time to accomplish the impossible of getting them to go to sleep in our bed. The oldest fell asleep within minutes while the younger one wanted to be held. So she convinced mom to let her back in the livingroom as long as she layed on my moms lap with her head turned away from the TV so that she could fall asleep. Thankfully it worked and she passed out quickly. We then made their beds in the livingroom. Unfortunatly right after that I got extremely tired and went to bed at 11:30. Usually I stay up pretty late when Mom is here.

So this morning I wake up to the cuteness of seeing my baby sisters sleeping. Mom and I made breakfast, took MOHCINE to work. And came home watched the movie “Something’s Gotta Give” while working on getting everyone ready and packed. Did some running around town and then took Mom to the airport at 3p.m.

I came home and layed down on the sofa for a short cat nap in my nice and quiet livingroom.

Been a few days

Well its been a few days since I have posted last. Been working on a new (big) project for Ms Jeni. So all my concentration is going there so I can finish it up. So far I think it is going well.

Saturday I went to the Battle of Champions VII which is a Boxing and Kickboxing Tournament. Never ever though I would sit through 7 hours of Boxing. The reason for me being there was to watch Angela’s Son who is 12 fight. He won his match. They had boys and girls from the age of 6 on up to mid 20’s. Started off with the kids and ended with the adults. That is where the real action came into play. I enjoyed the kickboxing alot more as they are allowed to do much more. But my favorite was actually watching the ritual the kickboxers do before they fight, even though only two of them performed it.

Today I had to return to the airport to pick up Mom, Kerri and the kids. This time she will be here for a few days. We all went to breakfast this morning which is always nice. Did some shopping for my baby sisters bday present. I bought her a little purse and some make up to put in it. Every little girl has to have her make up. Then came home to pick up MOHCINE.

I have no idea what im doing tomorrow. More then likely I will go to see Mom again. Then on Thursday she will be staying with me. Then I will be making a birthday cake for my baby sister. Since she told me today that she has to have another party at my house lol. So I will make dinner and bake a cake. And have Angela over with her daughter so the girls can all play also since Angela wants to see Mom while she is in town. Not sure how Mom feels about it though since I think Mom still has mixed feelings about her from problems Angela and I had in the past. But that was 14 years ago.

A Day with Mom

Well Yesterday MOHCINE and I picked up mom from the Airport at 12:00. She was in town for 9 hours from Seattle. So we went to Anthony’s Fish Grotto. Which is right on the San Diego Harbor. It’s not as nice as it once was years back. This place used to be a really nice place. I have definitially had better fish. I’ve had better Clam Chowder at the deli at Ralphs. And the Shrimp Cocktail that Mom ordered kinda sucked too they gave her little tiny shrimps. I’m sorry but when I think of Shrimp Cocktail I want to see huge Tiger Shrimp. So after we enjoyed the view (as im sure you can imagine it from the picture shown here) and talked for a while we headed off to do some shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond.

We were almost blown away from walking in there. It felt like they had a jet powered AC in there. MOHCINE was parking the car when Mom and I first experienced it so we had to wait out side for him to experience it with us again LOL. Took MOHCINE home talked there for another hour or so. Then took him to play soccer with the boys as Mom and I went to do a little more shopping and headed out to Kerri’s house. So I went home, Mom, Kerri, Josh and Tyson all went to the Airport to go back up to Seattle.
